This reflects Session 1 (Day 1&2) of the HighScope Infant Toddler Two's 5-day, in person, training series. Your center should have identified HighScope as its curriculum of choice. Please Note: No walk-ins permitted. HighScope 5-day Standard Training is broken up into three sessions: Session 1(Days 1&2), Session 2(Days 3&4), and Session 3(Day 5). Early childhood professionals will have the opportunity to expand their current knowledge and skill level through high level, high impact professional development. Attendees of the HighScope training will explore how to create a learning environment to support the development of young learners and will learn how to include curriculum content within a flexible and predictable daily routine. Participants will be engaged in active participatory learning as they become familiar with adult child interaction strategies that honor individual children’s learning styles and development. This training addresses Grow NJ Kids Standards 2.2.2 and 2.4.1 and aligns with the NJ Core Knowledge and Competencies: Learning Environment and Curriculum. This course is offered as a COHORT. We strongly encourage you to register for all of the following days in this series: Session 1- Aug 9th and Aug 10th. Session 2- Aug 14th and Aug 15th and Session 3- Aug 16th There are local eateries in the area. Lunch is on your own. Park in the adjacent lot. |
